Stucki Reunion

This last weekend we went to Rigby Lake for my family reunion, we had lots of fun. Playing games, eating food, playing in the lake and visiting with family. I forgot to get my camera out so I don't have any pictures of the reunion. This year they decided to do a raffle, someone made a quilt that had my grandparents names and there wedding day in a square and then all my grandpa's brothers and sisters day they were married with my great grandparents name and date then had a pocket from great grandpas old overalls and I really wanted to win that so I put in 12 tickets thinking that would help my odds. I didn't win the quilt but I did win something, it was my great grandparents old Crockett set that they used which I think is awesome I am glad I got it. Craig is going to kinda fit it up a little so that we will be able to use it without it breaking anymore then it has.
Craig, Randy, Malissa, Morgan, Reagan, Jim, Wyatt and my cousin Cordell went down to the lake to play in it they really had lots of fun, the kids played in the sand and water and just had lots of fun, Randy and Craig decided that they would go out and swim around, the lake also had a was cool water slide and they went to try that, they really had lots of fun. It was great weather until about 4 o'clock and then the dark clouds started to roll in and the lightning started to come so we had to get out.
Craig and I decided that we were going to stay the night in Idaho Falls and just make a little vacation out of it. Jim, Shauntae, Wyatt and Hannah also stayed. We had lots of fun there, we all went out to dinner at Texas Road House which was really good. Then we came back and all of us but Shauntae and Hannah went swimming. We had a nice time just playing around and relaxing, the really nice part was the hot tube, some days I wish that I had one!

When I was younger and we would stay in Idaho Falls we would always go over the the Falls that is across from the Idaho Falls Temple and we would feed the ducks that are always there, well I couldn't pass us the chance to get to go over there again and share the fun times with Wyatt and Craig. They both had lots of fun and I sure had fun myself, I always do. Me and Shauntae were talking about how were are going to have to make trips to Idaho Falls every year just so that our kids will get to do some of the same things that we did as kids. So when me and Craig start to have kids and they get old enough we will at least go up once a year so they can have a chance to feed the ducks!!

Shannon and I decided that we were going to treat ourselves to pedicures at this nice spa in Layton called Beyond Spa. It really was nice to just relax and not worry about anything. While we were gone Craig was so nice to watch CoCo, Ruby and Dex for us so that we could have a nice time! Thanks so much Babe!! This place was really nice but the quality of the pedicure was about the same as anywhere else. They have these nice chairs to sit on and they give you a glass of ice water, then they give you a cold thing to put on your eyes if you want. Also they give you like a neck warmer to help relax you, it really is very nice.

On Thursday I went with my Mom, nieces Morgan and Reagan to the Tree House Museum in Ogden. I was really excited for the day off and for the chance to get to spend the day with family. I had never been there and I was really excited to see what it was all about, all my nieces and nephew's love this place and they all have year passes so they all go a lot. I figured it would be pretty big with lots of things to do but I didn't realize how big it really was. There is so much stuff there for the kids to do and they can just go from one thing to another and it never gets old. I really liked getting to milk a cow, (that was a first for me). The girls made sure to help me get my exercise, I got to run around after Reagan just trying to keep my eye's on her. They are so full of energy and I just wish I had half as much as they did. Thanks mom for letting me come with you and spend the day it really was so much fun!

Memorial Weekend

Well normally I don't ever get weekends off, and especially not Holiday weekends, so I was very happy to see that I got a Saturday off and I was going to be able to go out and do something. Since it was Memorial weekend Craig and I decided that we would go up to Malad, Idaho to my Brother in Law's family Ranch, and spend some time up there. We got up there Saturday afternoon to find everyone just hanging out and enjoying the day. Not to much was going on so Craig and I decided that we would go for a 4-wheeler ride around the property. We got back and I decided that I was going to finish a book and Craig wanted to go for another ride by himself so he left and I enjoyed my quiet time and a short nap. We had dinner and then enjoyed spending time with family and friends while playing card games.

Sunday morning we woke up about 7. What a beautiful place we live in, I always love being out in nature away from the world and just get to reflect on what a great place we have to live in. Since we were one of the first to get up we decided to get in the truck and go for another ride and just spend sometime together and just enjoy our wonderful Sunday. After breakfast we all just sat around talking, and the men pulled out the guns and decided that they would shoot the field squirrels that were all over. I thought it looked fun so I joined in on the fun, and I have to say I am a pretty good shot. Craig really enjoyed getting to shoot the guns he even asked if we could get one of our own so that when we go up that we have our own. (We will have to see if we end up getting one). We enjoyed nap ( I love not being home and getting the chance to have a nap if I want to). We went for another ride and we went up to one of my favorite spots on the Ranch. It is up by there property line up on a hill, the first time I went up there I told myself I was going to get pictures of me in my wedding dress up there so now I just need to find the time that I can go up there and not have it raining. ( Once I get those pictures i will make sure to post pictures.) All in all I love the Ranch, I am so thankful that Curtis and Karen Christensen are so willing to let us come up and spend time with them. Thank you so so much!
