Vacation!!

Craig and I had the chance to go to California for a week and just get away from our every day life. It was really nice, we had a full week planned out and lots to do. Craig and I both worked the day we left, Craig took a half day so he got off by noon so that he could get a nap in before he drove all night. I got off at 3 and headed home, we got everything loaded and were on the road by 4. We stopped in Vegas around 10p.m. to get out and walk around a little bit, we walked the strip and I won't lie I don't ever need to go back to Vegas again. We made it California at about 4 Wednesday morning and we had to wait a little bit before we could text my sister Shannon so that we could get into there room. So we just drove around and tried to get to the beach but we weren't able to.

Wednesday - when we got there we slept for a few hours then we got up and got ready for the day, we went to the beach so that the kids could play and just run around. We just walked on the beach and then we also walked on the pier and watched all the fisher men try to catch the little fish. (we never saw anyone get one one bigger then like 3 inches long.)

Thursday - We went to Disneyland with my sister and her family. We just tried to hit all the fun rides and get everything in that we wanted to do with them. (They were only going to be going to Disneyland the one day) It was fun getting to talk Cohen and Ruby on all the rides, Cohen liked all of them but Ruby liked some of them but not all of them. They were so fun so watch and see the big smiles on their faces! Craig and I got to watch Dexter while they went to the World of Color show that they have. He was really good for us, he slept the whole time! It really was get fun to watch him!

Friday- Craig and I got to have the chance to go to Disneyland another day since we had gotten season passes when we came down for our Honeymoon in November. Craig's sister Keri and nephew Marcus came this day with us, we were able to hit most everything that we didn't get to the day before. We also got to go and see the new show that they have the World of Color and all I have to say is that it was awesome. I am so glad we got the chance to see it, I loved it! I just love Disneyland, I can't wait to have kid's one day and be able to take them to the Happiest place on Earth!

Saturday- We were able to go to Marcus soccer game that morning, it was really fun to watch him out there playing. He had so much fun, and it was fun to be there. After that we drove to Temecula were his Uncle and Aunt live, we meet them so that we could go to San Diego to play at the beach and ride the beach cruisers. It was over cast and cold the day we went but it was still fun to be there! Craig tried to skim board and he did alright for his first time but he decided that he would just stick to the buggy board so him and his cousin Shelby were out in the water for about 45 minutes doing that. I forgot to get a lot of pictures this day, sorry!

So this was our dinner! Yes I know it is huge, it feed 6 adults and 2 kids and we had two slices left. It was so big but so good! One of the best pizza's I have had.

Sunday- SEA WORLD!! Yes I am so excited that we go to go to Sea World. This was my first time ever going there and it was so much fun I loved it. We got to see all the shows that they have there and they were pretty sweet! We got to do lots of things that I would never normally do. Craig feed the sting rays, I wouldn't do it I was to freaked out, but I did at least touch one so I am proud of myself for that at least!

It was a very awesome show I am glad we got to see it!

While we were walking around at Sea World I saw this cool looking chair lift thing that goes from one side of the park to the other and back. It takes you across the ocean and it was fun to just sit and relax and just enjoy the view, I am glad we did it!

Monday- We didn't have anything planned for this day so since we were staying with Craig's Uncle and Aunt we just stayed kinda close by. We went shopping at a mall that was about and hour away, we got a few things which was nice. It was also nice to just relax and not do really anything all day. We went back and hung out with his cousins, Craig and his cousin Micheal had fun playing ping pong, Micheal has a fun way of playing instead of keeping track of points they just give each other welts on there backs if they lose. Craig had a back full of them, I wish I had a picture of it but i for got to get one, it was pretty fun to watch!

Tuesday- We got up and got all packed up. We headed to Mesa, Arizona to meet up with Craig's Mission buddy Drew and his wife. We went to dinner with them just were able to stay with them for the night! Craig and Drew went and played racket ball, they had lots of fun, I think Craig is going to take that up as his new sport!

Wednesday- The alarm went off at 5 and that really was to early but I am glad we left so early or we wouldn't have gotten home till really late. It was a great trip we were able to listen to the book Harry Potter while we drove so that was fun it made the time go faster!

We had such a great time while we were away! I am so glad that I get to go and do all these fun things with my best friend, I can't wait for all the other fun times to come in the coming years! I love you so much Craig!!

Craig's friend Tyson has a cabin up in Lava and he invited us up for the weekend, so after we got off work on Friday we headed up for a nice relaxing weekend. We got there about 10 in Friday night since we didn't leave until about 7:30 but its all good we had a nice time anyways. Once we got there we just hung out and help get things unloaded. The next morning all the men that were there cooked breakfast for us which was awesome, we had waffles, bacon, eggs and hash browns. It really was great I love getting to have a hot breakfast. Once we got everything cleaned up we headed down to the pools so that we could spend the morning there. They have some awesome slides that we went on and then they have the plat forms that I really wanted to go off also. (Craig wanted to go off them also but since he had his cast on wasn't able to). We have a video of me going off the highest one but I don't know how to put it on so once I figure it out I will post it. After the pool we went back to the cabin for lunch and just relaxed for a little bit. Once we were done there we headed back down to ride the river which was awesome, I loved it! We are going to try to do that more often since it isn't every far and its a fun thing to do. Me and Craig

After the river we went back to the cabin again for dinner, which was awesome it was dutch oven chicken and potatoes. After dinner we went to the hot pots to just relax and have a good evening. I only got two pictures and none of them were of Craig and I but oh well at least I remembered to take a few pictures!

This was on our drive home Sunday morning it was so beautiful!

In March we went to the IHC and had a doctor look at Craig's right wrist, they told us it was a ganglion cyst. He said that we could have it drained and there could be a 90% chance that the cyst would come back. Well it came back and so we decided that we would should have it removed so on August 6th we did just that, we had to be to Ogden Regional at 11 that morning to get things ready. My sister Ashlee came with us so that I wouldn't have to sit and wait by myself. We had to wait for about and hour and a half before they took Craig back but we brought a movie to watch so we didn't notice that it was very long! They were going to put Craig out but once they got into the room they asked him if he would like to stay awake so that is what he decided to do. The whole surgery took about 20 minutes, we spent more time waiting then the whole surgery took. After we were done we went to lunch at Goodwood and then to see the movie Step Up 3D which by the way is awesome.

Craig had the chance to go wheeling with some of his buddies from work and also his cousins and Uncle. They started out there day at about 6 that morning so that they would make it before it got way to hot to be out in the sun. They went up Millville Canyon in Logan. The trail wasn't as hard as they thought it would be since it was all graded. They had a great time anyways and I know that Craig is looking forward to being able to go again soon. I hope next time I will be able to go with them! Look at that awesome view

July 2010

This July has been a busy but fun one for us. We have been able to spend lots of time with family and friends. On the 3rd of July we got up and went to breakfast at the Willard City Building for a pancake breakfast. We try to go each year since Grandpa Stucki makes the pancakes for it. After that we were able to be in the parade. Grandpa wanted to make a float for the family and have everyone ride on it so Craig and Grandpa did lots of work to get the trailer ready and then the day before the parade the rest of my family came out and helped get it finished. We had lots of fun throwing candy and waving at all the people at the parade. Craig drove the 4-wheeler pulling the float while most everyone else road on the trailer. I was able to help my sister Shannon out by holding her son Dexter during the parade. It was fun to have all the family around to support grandpa with the things he wants to do. After the parade I had to head home and get ready for work since I had to work that night with I wasn't very excited about but oh will it's life right?:)

After I got off work I really didn't want to go anywhere so we just watched the Fireworks from the front yard of Grandma and Grandpa's house in Willard. We had lots of fun, we had Malissa, Randy and the girls come over and then Ashlee came over also. Mom and Dad came out also so we were having a party! Craig and Randy lite off some old fireworks that my grandma found from who know how long ago! We had lots of fun just spending time with one another!

A day at the pool!

I had the day off the day Keri and Marcus came into town and so I thought it would be fun for us to go to the pool. We also had my sister in law Tammy and her little girl Kyrie come and our niece Hunter and our cousin Natalie with us. We really did have a great time at the pool we had fun getting to just relax and spend time in the pool. The kids had even more fun, they were all over the place going off the diving boards and going down the slide. I am so glad that I get the chance to spend time with family!
